Mac's Diner was a diner and a bar owned and run by Macho.
Victoria Terpsichore would frequent Mac's Diner during her trucking runs, so much so that the bartender knew her. Muriel worked there as a waitress.
Decker, who became a criminal and bounty head, decided to go to Woody's to eat. Rumor had it that he was eating in the area, which was heard by many bounty hunters, including the Memphis brothers, Spike Spiegel and Faye Valentine. The diner quickly filled up. Spike checked out the diner while Faye went to Woody's. Soon after VT arrived for her usual visit, the bar became rowdy as Muriel was harassed by the Memphis brothers. VT defended her, which turned into a brawl that drew in Spike as well when his prairie oyster was ruined by one of the brothers. The two beat them up, Muriel knocked one out, and the brothers were thrown out. As VT and Spike talked afterwards, the Three Old Men came to guess VT's name, unsuccessfully. Soon, however, the mood soured when VT realized Spike was a bounty hunter too, which she was disgusted by. He left peacefully, though he found that the brothers had trashed his ship outside. VT left, giving Spike a ride reluctantly.[1]
