Since Cowboy Bebop isn't set that far in the future, it's only reasonable that popular brands continue to exist. This page lists real world brands and altered brand names in the Cowboy Bebop universe.
Apple Inc.[]
The operating systems shown in Cowboy Bebop don't look very much like Mac OS X and we never see Apple stores, but there are still Apple computers around - for example, in the police office in the movie, where a computer similar to a Power Mac G3 is visible. The "G" stands for "Generation", so it's no surprise that this model is a G11.
The Coca Cola Company[]
In comparison to the presence of Apple, we see quite much of Coca-Cola: Not only advertisements and marquees, but also the iconic Coca-Cola bottles.
Deutsche Bahn AG[]
Unlike in the early 21st century, the Deutsche Bahn AG ("German Train") isn't limited to Germany or even earth - it also runs train stations on Mars. This can be seen in the movie, Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
Gina Motors[]
Gina Motors is a company building trucks. The truck Vincent drives in Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door is made by this company.
Pippu Cola[]
Pippu Cola, likely a reference to Pepsi, is a soft drink in the Cowboy Bebop universe. Unlike Coca-Cola, this brand had to change its name for reasons unknown. Jet seems to prefer this cola.
WcDonald's[]
- Main article: WcDonald's
WcDonald's is a fast food restaurant, and an obvious reference to McDonald's. Like Pippu Cola, the name of this brand has been altered for the show. An advertisement for WcDonald's can be seen in Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door.
