Thompson Contender
In "Sympathy for the Devil", Spike uses a break-action, single-shot pistol loaded with a custom round made from a special gem against the Wen in the climax of the episode.
The gem is made from the same energy that broke Wen's circadian rhythm, initially causing him to stop aging. However, exposing him to the gem can return aging to Wen – the only thing that can kill him. Jet crafts a bullet out of the gem and Spike loads it into a Thompson Center Contender. Jet also notes he doesn't know what will happen once the bullet goes into him – it could explode – but in the end, the gem works and turns Wen into an old man.
The gun's function and form appears to be based on the Thompson Center Arms Contender, but is entirely fictional, including a cut…
Warrior of the Snake
I'm a warrior. I got ninjitsu, bikenjutsu, skateboarding and even some command scores. One day I'll get a snake tattooed on me. But only after I am fully muscular. I've dedicated a good few years on wiki researching snakes and so to focus on my battle-ship I understand I am the Monsignifer Lancehead Viper.

...DARY!!!! This show is Legendary! I think it should crossover with another anime so we can get some new eps of Cowboy Bebop! Jeydo (talk) 19:35, August 17, 2015 (UTC)
Geisha World
The Geisha World Wiki is named after the artistic and mystical women known as Geisha (Geiko or Geigi), but it deals with interests other than geisha, such as; the arts of Japan, their religion which is traditionally Shinto, and many other interesting and intriguing things about Japan. The Geisha World Wiki also gives users the freedom to talk about multiple subjects considering Japan, without being tied down to one subject. You can truly say that the Geisha World Wiki is about everything Japanese, and we wish to be affiliated with wikis of the same topics.
So what's your favorite song?

Spike Spiegel's Past
While browsing a different site, a user asked us to discuss our own theories about Spike Spiegel and his past. I thought it was a very interesting question, and I was wondering what everyone else thinks! What was Spike's life like prior to the events in Cowboy Bebop? DId he have a family? Was he alone? What do you guys think?
This is what I think (and remember, this is just my opinion, not to be taken as a fact or canon!). Here goes: I think that Spike's father was probably connected to the syndicate in some way or another. Then, something happened and both of his parents were killed (possibly by a rival syndicate... maybe a trade gone wrong or something) and Spike was taken in by Mao Yenrai (who was probably a friend of Spike's dad) and was …
Solar Transmitter in the musical box??
In Session 13, Vicious mentioned something about putting a solar transmitter in his music box that he gave to Gren. What exaclty is it and what does it mean??
Back in Action
I'm active once again and will outline my plan so I can hopefully stick to it.
1. Prepare 2 months worth of Articles for "Feature Status". Both articles are deserving of this status and only need a brief proofreading and a quick scan for possible content additions.
- Asteroid Blues
- Stray Dog Strut
2. Prepare 2 months worth of Images for "Feature Status". They only need a quick description for reference.
- File:2 Dogwalk.png
- File:3_Bebop.png
- File:SW_File_1.png
- File:12_BlueCrow.png
3. Add several new facts to the "Did You Know?" panel.
4. Create thumbnail images for all characters on the Character List page.
5. Begin articles for characters from sessions that we have already written. These include:
- Katerina Solensan
- Morgan
- Twinkle Maria Murdock
- Wen
- Zebra
- Giraffe…
100 articles!!!
Instead of making a formal work schedule, I just picked a bunch of Special:WantedPages that had several broken links and set to getting us to 100 articles. Sure we've got plenty of stubs in that pile of 100, but this is a start.
My favorite of the new bunch is missed bounties, because it would have been quicker to make an article of "actually caught bounties".
Also check out Earth, Mars, and Venus to see the planet template. It still needs some work and there isn't a solid line separating what is known to the show and what we know about the actual planets. Some things would change (rock showers), but others would stay the same (a planet's size).
That's all for now. I'm on vacation until September.
Music to my ears
I got to everything from my last work schedule but Black Dog Serenade. Those big session articles take more time than I always expect, so I'll take that slow.
An easier thing for me to do is write non-fiction because the material is already there in other articles for me to reference and capture into a biography. So I'm going to start with the musicians because we have a lot of them.
I have started with Mai Yamane. If you want to make a page for a musician, follow that template. Look for their wikipedia article first and expand on it with interviews and pictures taken from cyberspace.
We should make a different Infobox template for the design artists, writers, producers, and executives. I'll see what I can find for that and make 1 article to b…
Weekly work plan
I've gotten into a rhythm of working on the site every Sunday and I'm going to try and keep this up for now.
Yesterday I wrote future Quotes of the Week for the rest of 2009 and made it so that feature automatically updates every week. Session 13: Jupiter Jazz (Part 2) now has its plot. The page still needs songs and references like most Sessions we have worked on.
I also gave Faye, Edward and Vicious new primary images to fit the "tall" standard for main characters. Spike already has one but we'll need to find good tall pictures of Jet and maybe Julia. I also added some content to the infoboxes and biographies of Faye, Edward and Vicious.
You can see the Edward page for an example of the Quotes section which might need to be have a see main art…
